Wow, this is a game changer for us here at Lawn Green – where you get more for less!
Specticle Herbicide is an excellent pre emergent herbicide product, when applied in Summer helps prevent most winter weedsfrom germinating.
Although this product costs us a bomb the client pays no more!
The cost to us per 1 litre of Specticle is around $2000, however, it is applied at a low rate per 100 square metres of lawn
The aim for us is to ultimately put out less herbicide (using Specticle) giving us and the client long term and, ultimately, more effective and better Winter weed control.
The end result is a (winter) weed free lawn for nearly 9 months from end of Summer to nearly the end of the following Spring.
By the next Summer, our lawns are quite healthy, thick and green, making them weed resistant to any Summer weeds – a win-win for everyone!
For any new client’s lawn we will have to spray out existing (post emergent) weeds with (various) post emergent lawn herbicides to get rid of all your broad leaf weeds and annual grass weeds like winter grass, barley gras and other weeds like onion weed, nut grass etc.
