We keep banging on about “Heavy But Infrequent Watering” for your lawn.
It’s so important, they did a story on this in The Hills Shire Times in Feb 2017.
Some lawns we come across people water their lawn for 10 minutes every day in Summer, this is completely ineffective.
You need to water the lawn Heavily but Infrequently.
Heavy watering promotes deep root growth making the grass more drought hardy.
Always water the lawn for 1 hour (Heavy), and as often as follows:
- weekly or twice weekly in Summer (if no rain)
- fortnightly in Autumn and Spring
- Nil water in Winter
