How To Re Turf Your Lawn Properly

RE-TURFING a lawn is not a case of just laying turf straight over exposed soil as I saw some cowboys do the other day. Their preparation was turf cut the the old kikuyu then lay the new Buffalo turf. Two (2) big problems here:
  1. they didn’t kill off the kikuyu (and its complete stolon/rhizome structure) with glyphosate/roundup, nuh, just turf cut the grass.
  2. they didn’t even prep the soil.
No wonder customers say some landscaping/lawnmowing contractors are crap.
