How To Get Rid Of Pigeon Grass From Your Couch Lawn
Here is a weed that is causing problems for homeowners with Couch Lawns (Cynodon dactylon) – it’s called Pigeon Grass.
Pigeon Grass seems to be more and more prevalent in the last few years and tends to be mostly a problem in Couch lawns, a bit of a problem in Kikuyu grass and we don’t really see it at all in Buffalo Lawns (Stenotaphrum secundatum).
After lots of experimenting with different herbicides and no success we tried a lower rate of glyphosate and have had consistent success in getting rid of Pigeon Grass from Green Couch without damage to the desirable turf grass.
