Army Worms strike at the most inopportune time – that is, your lawn is looking its best after a lovely summer, the weather starts to cool down with the onset of Autumn (or Fall), then without any warning the lawn starts to get eaten out by these lawn foraging caterpillars. The problem is they attack your lawn as the weather cools down going into Winter, and your lawn looks worse for wear for too long.
