How To Get Rid Of Pennywort [Kurnell Curse] In Lawns
This Yates web page is not entirely clear, and I want to clarify a couple of things.
1. [Pennywort], aka [Kurnell Curse] (Hydrocotyle bonariensis), can be selectively removed from lawns using herbicide products (with the active constituent, Dicamba). We know because we have had success here.
2. Dicamba is present in the Yates Weed n Feed product.
3. Yates are correct in saying that their “Weed N Feed” product is not registered for the control of Pennywort in lawns, however, the target weeds listed on the Label will be present in these lawns so collaterally you will be able to get rid of the Pennywort at the same time as targeting the other weeds without breaking any Label regulations.
