How To Get Rid Of Paspalum Weed In Your Buffalo (aka St Augustine) Lawn.
If you have the paspalum weed (Paspalum dilatatum) in your lawn and depending on what turf grass species you have will determine how you best control and eradicate the paspalum.
There are herbicides like Monument (made by Syngenta) that will selectively remove paspalum from Green Couch and Zoysia only.
However, if the paspalum is present in grasses like kikuyu and buffalo then the only ways to remove this weed are:
1. by digging the paspalum out of the grass, roots and all, or
2. for a guaranteed kill, by wiping the paspalum plant with glyphosate (aka Roundup)
